We seek applicants for a part-time position within Adult Education to work individually with students to identify goals and career pathways under the guidance of the Associate Director. Will support Adult Education students' transition into further educational or employment opportunities.

Schedule is anticipated to include up to 20 hours per week.

General responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Support students' goal setting
• Meet with students to identify, evaluate, and reduce barriers to their success and achievement of identified goals
• Support career-focused experiential learning activities such as job shadowing and mock job fairs
• Assist with student onboarding and orientation
• Maintain records of student class attendance and follow-up with students when absent

• Bachelor's degree OR associate degree with appropriate work experience
• Organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to effectively and inclusively serve a diverse population of adult learners
• Ability to function professionally under pressure and perform duties in a confidential manner

• Experience working with disadvantaged adults
• Career planning experience, such as resume writing and interview skills preparation knowledge
