Job Description
The CDM Guest Services Team act as one of the main points of contact between the museum and museum guests. Guest Services are integral to the museum visit in a number of capacities; they help to maintain a safe and clean environment for play, and they model fun and engaging play behaviors for both young and adult patrons. The main objective of Guest Services staff is to facilitate safe and memorable museum visits for CDM guests throughout the year.
Shift hours are: Monday 8:30-12:30; Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday 8:30-1:00 and 1:00-5:30; Thursday and Friday 8:30-2:30 and 2:30-8:30; Sunday 12:30-5:30Duties/Essential Job Functions
•Interacting with Museum guests and engaging in purposeful play experiences
•Maintaining the Museum’s cleaning and sanitation schedule for exhibits
•Supervising and working with volunteers
•Assisting with education programs, special events and other museum related activitiesRequired Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
•Past experience working with children
•Team player with outgoing personality
•Self motivated and dependable
