Responsibilities

Salary: $17.00 per hour
A Day in the Life: To respond to maintenance needs of State Farm Park and park patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Running Lawn Mowers, Leaf Blowers and Power Washers.
- Raking, Weeding and Picking up Trash.
- Striping Soccer Field.
- Taking Daily Pool Readings.
- Assist with moves and maintenance projects across the campus.
- Check State Farm Park cards to check out equipment.
- Take reservations for tennis courts and keep track of area usage records.
- General customer service for State Farm Park patrons.
- Ensure safety of all patrons and enforce all State Farm Park Policies.
- Limited pick-up duties of area (golf balls, clubs, etc.).
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Handle physical part of the job (outside all day in the heat).
- This list may not include all tasks, or duties that may be expected to be performed and may result in additional duties being assigned.
General Information:
- Attendants are typically scheduled for 25-38.75 hours per week. Hours include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Additional hours may be available.
- Commit to work at least 12 ½-weeks out of the 14 ½-week season.
Qualifications
We are looking for the following Candidates:
- Minimum age of 18 years is required (by May 1st, 2026).
- Develops knowledge of State Farm and the department's workflow, procedures and products.
- Follows process guidelines to complete work.
- Must be accountable for work schedule.
- Work on special projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be dependable, work in a team, motivated.
- Must be comfortable with communicating and enforcing State Farm Park policies to patrons.
- Commit to work schedule from orientation on May 9, 2026, through September 27, 2026, without excessive requests for time off.

Additional Details:
- Position is not eligible for merit increases or incentives.
- Position is not eligible for Shift Pay.
- Maintenance personnel at State Farm Park are responsible for maintaining the buildings and equipment, including the Beach House conference facility and concession areas.
