Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Lead Software Engineer specializing in Mobile Quality Assurance and Automation to join our mobile application testing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing practices, ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. Responsibilities May Include:
• Design, develop, and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts based on functional specifications and user stories.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create comprehensive testing strategies.
• Perform manual and automated testing on mobile applications across various devices and operating systems.
• Execute functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Communicate issues clearly to the development team, retest resolved defects to verify fixes, and ensure no new issues are introduced.
• Expand automated test coverage by developing and maintaining automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Playwright.
• Identify test cases suitable for automation and create robust automation scripts.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all testing activities, including test plans, test cases, automation frameworks, and End of Test (EOT) reports.
• Provide feedback on product quality to stakeholders.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in QA testing, mobile technologies, and agile methodologies.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of testing strategies and processes to enhance overall quality assurance efforts.
Qualifications
We Are Seeking Candidates With:
• Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on mobile applications and automation.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks is essential.
• Strong experience with mobile testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, Selenium) and automation technologies.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Bash/ZSH, Python) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and mobile app development life cycles is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Qualifications
• Experience with cloud-based device testing platforms (e.g., Perfecto or AWS Device Farm).
• Knowledge of Cucumber and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Gradle, Maven).
• Proven ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation frameworks and processes.

- Potential starting salary range: $104,000 - $140,000
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
