Responsibilities

Get ready to CLAIM your future with an exciting internship opportunity! Our dynamic Property & Casualty Claims Department is on the hunt for driven students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year, graduating in December 2026, May 2027, or May 2028. Even better? This internship could extend across two summers, giving you an unforgettable, immersive experience!

As an intern, you’ll: Dive deep into multiple facets of claims and explore the wider world of insurance operations.

• Learn claim handling skills including investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and applying policies.

• Work side-by-side with our expert claims teams as you tackle medical, property, liability, and injury claims.

• Connect and collaborate with agents, insurers, and repair shops

Qualifications

We are looking for the following:
• Students majoring in Business, Risk Management/Insurance, Psychology, Criminal Justice—or other majors that align with our Claims’ business needs.
• Passionate team players with sharp critical thinking, sound decision-making skills, excellent communication, keen attention to detail, and a strong customer focus.

Internship Information:

  • Dates: The internship will occur between June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
    • Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule.
  • Pay: $22.00/hour
  • Stipend: Interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend!
  • Internship Program Eligibility: To be eligible for the internship program, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled throughout the duration of the internship.
  • Work Arrangement:
    • HYBRID: Selected interns should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment. Please note that relocation benefits will not apply.
  • HUB LOCATIONS: Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; Dunwoody, GA; Bloomington, IL
