- You’ll enable EHS&S training innovation, maintain compliance, and ensure knowledge transfer in one of the most dynamic manufacturing environments in the country.
Responsibilities
- Own the EHS&S training strategy across all shop floors; develop scalable, high-impact programs that address plant-specific risks.
- Conduct gap analyses and stakeholder interviews to identify safety training priorities and KPIs.
- Partner with EHS&S, Operations, and Enterprise L&D to ensure alignment, coordination, and impact.
- Design and deploy digital and live training experiences using adult learning theory.
- Author e-learning modules, simulations, and safety briefings using Articulate Rise, Camtasia, and Synthesia.
- Deliver New Hire Orientation safety content and facilitate key in-person sessions.
- Certify and manage a bench of internal safety trainers across shifts.
- Track compliance across OSHA-mandated programs and internal training protocols.
- Manage LMS assignments and completions (RLN platform) in coordination with Enterprise L&D.
- Monitor feedback, issue evaluations, and iterate for effectiveness and engagement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in EHS&S and L&D roles in a manufacturing environment
- Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory frameworks
- Strong technical knowledge of plant processes and safety risks
- Proficiency in instructional design, facilitation, and learning evaluation
- Advanced project management and stakeholder influence skills
- Familiarity with LMS systems and course authoring tools
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing environments
- Multilingual (Spanish/French)
- Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP, CHST)
- Strong command of Google Suite, AI video tools, and Articulate 360
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for Normal, IL-based applicants: $125,800 – $157,200 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
