Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Planner/Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting strategic planning, analyzing data, and providing insights that drive decision-making processes within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate forecasting, efficient resource allocation, and the continuous improvement of business operations.


Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans based on data-driven insights to support business objectives.
    • Prepare long-term forecasts, financial models, and budgets to ensure effective planning.
    • Analyze market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments to guide planning efforts.
  • Sourcing and Procurement
    • Collaborate with the team to generate and manage purchase orders.
    • Negotiate with vendors to achieve best price, service and product.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality and on time delivery.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, including financial reports, operational metrics, and market research.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management based on analytical findings.
    • Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Resource Allocation & Optimization:
    • Work with cross-functional teams to plan and allocate resources effectively.
    • Identify areas for operational improvement, cost savings, and efficiency optimization.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust plans to meet organizational goals.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Support:
    • Collaborate with departments to align planning efforts and support business initiatives.
    • Provide analytical support to senior management, helping them make informed, data-backed decisions.
    • Ensure that planning activities are aligned with company objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Risk Management & Problem-Solving:
    • Identify potential risks and challenges in planning and execution.
    • Proactively suggest solutions to mitigate risks and ensure the success of planning initiatives.
    • Address ad-hoc planning requests and provide immediate analysis for urgent business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a planning, analysis, or business intelligence role.
    • Strong experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
    • Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment.
    • Previous purchasing and buying experience.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools.
    • Experience with SAP required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
