Expected pay for this position is $58.00 - $76.86/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Cardiovascular Services provides oversight and direction in establishing and maintaining a system for developing, reviewing, approving and disseminating standards of clinical practice including, but not limited to: quality, education, advanced practice, and clinical operations within the division and the medical center. Makes recommendations on policy issues and technology needs regarding clinical practice. Responsible for the identification of opportunities to attain superior quality, safety and cost, including the implementation of solution sets and ongoing evaluation of performance, by working collaboratively with medical staff, other clinical leaders, and ancillary departments. Responsible for the planning, directing and evaluating operational performance of the division, including management of capital, financial and human resources.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Masters in Nursing, Business Administration or Healthcare related field.
Other Licenses/Certifications:
- Required to achieve national certification in leadership within one year of eligibility.
Experience:
- 5 years progressively more responsible work in clinical field.
- 3 years leadership experience
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
License/Certifications:
- RN-Registered Nurse in current state.
