Expected pay for this position is $33.18 - $43.97/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager Materials Value Chain is responsible for managing and coordinating operational activities for the division including but not limited to purchasing, material/supply distribution, linen distribution, mail processing and any others that are assigned to the Materials Value Chain. Assures accuracy and adequate condition of shipments, ensures inventory levels compare favorably with shipping and receiving levels, communicates with vendors, schedules and assigns work, resolves conflicts, and prepares reports and billings. The Manager is also responsible for the materials resource needs of these departments. Monitors assigned budgets to meet established goals of department. Participates in the development of the departmental budget, business plan and quality assurance plan.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School/GED
Experience:
- 5 years of supply chain work experience
- Experience with materials management computer systems such as inventory control, accounting, receiving, and purchasing
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
