The Director of Enrollment Operations and Systems is responsible for oversight of operational functions of enrollment, primarily the development, configuration, and daily administration of the Slate Customer Relationships Management (CRM) system. This includes leading and mentoring the operations team, managing the daily operations, implementation of policies and procedures for operational efficiency, and building reports and strategies to maximize data analytics to meet enrollment goals. This role also provides project management for system enhancements and delivers end-user support and training to optimize campus-wide use of enrollment technologies. This position reports to and works closely with the VP for Enrollment in planning and implementing strategies to achieve the University’s enrollment goals. This role collaborates with offices across Enrollment and the University to design and implement process improvements and automations, and to ensure data integrity and effective system integrations. This is a full-time, 12 month position. While the position is intended to be on-campus, remote work within approved states and travel to campus as directed, may be considered. Responsibilities:

  • Slate CRM Administrator and Systems Management; oversee all aspects of the university’s Slate CRM system, including user accounts, permissions, and security; develop and implement workflows, forms, and dashboards to support recruitment and admissions objectives; coordinate with IT and vendors to implement system enhancements, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure system reliability; monitor CRM data integrity and enforce University data stewardship and security standards
  • Leadership and Management; lead, manage, and direct Enrollment Operations staff members and their functions, specifically staff members responsible for Slate system operations and support; assign work, oversee project progress, conduct performance reviews and support staff growth and trainings; lead or coordinate enrollment systems projects, ensuring goals, deadlines and quality standards are met; foster communication and collaboration with Enrollment/Admissions, IT, and other campus stakeholders
  • Data Analysis and Reporting; build and manage enrollment funnel reports, analytics dashboards, and ad-hoc queries within Slate to support decision making; compile and present data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, events, and communications; ensure accuracy of reporting, including year-end admissions data for executive or external review; support ad-hoc data requests and collaborate on institutional research projects
  • Training, Support and Documentation; provide expert-level training and support for Slate users, including troubleshooting issues and developing user resources; design and deliver end-user knowledge base articles, reference materials, and training sessions; serve as primary technical consultant to campus stakeholders on Slate usage; solicit feedback from users and incorporate suggestions to enhance system usability

  • Business Process Analysis & Improvement; identify and implement process efficiencies using best practices in data management, workflow process, surveys and technology to ensure best practices in enrollment operations; implement solutions to streamline workflows and improve the effectiveness of recruitment and admissions; evaluate the impact of system updates, new features or integrations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with CRM systems, specifically Slate, including administration, configuration, data management, and workflow automation
