The Department of Business Administration at Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU) invites applications for a new position. Employment will begin August 2024. We are interested in hiring either a tenure-track, assistant professor with an active research agenda or a teaching-track faculty member specializing in classroom excellence. The department seeks a faculty member who can teach a variety of business classes. We are especially interested in candidates who can teach courses in the following fields:
- Organizational Management
- Human Resource Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Sales Management
- Entrepreneurship.
In addition to teaching, this position requires mentoring business students and participating in university service.
Candidates must have graduated from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants are expected to have earned a PhD or DBA in a business-related field by August 1, 2024. Candidates with a JD or MBA possessing exceptional professional experience which promotes our experiential learning emphasis will also be considered.
