Job Summary
Serve as a Daily Rate Substitute Teacher for the deaf or visually impaired, working with students attending the Laboratory Schools through the Heart of Illinois Low Incidence (HILIAS) program.
Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$112.50 per day
Additional Information
Benefits include time away from work for eligible employees and the option to participate in the University’s 403(b) Plan.
Required Qualifications
1. Associate’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education or show completion of 60 semester hours of coursework
2. Short-Term Substitute License through the Regional Office of Education, or valid Illinois Substitute teaching certificate
3. Demonstrates competent sign language skills OR competent braille skills
