About the role
Coordinates, develops and implements the Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom (IAITC) Program for preschool through 12th grade teachers and their students.How does this role make an impact?
- Develops resources for students, teachers, volunteers and the IAITC website. - Presents programs at school, teacher conferences, institutes and pre-service classes throughout the state. - Assists county Farm Bureaus and other groups in coordination of IAITC efforts and volunteer training. - Develops and administers surveys to evaluate programs. Analyzes and reports data to appropriate entities. - Coordinates communications efforts with other IFB departments. - Cooperates with IAA Foundation staff on fundraising efforts. - Assists with various programs related to ag literacy, such as grants, recognition, awards and Adopt a Classroom.Do you have what we're looking for?
Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
- Normal office environment.
- Extensive travel throughout Illinois, including overnights and 1 weekend per month.
- Ability to lift, move and/or carry extensive materials and displays up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Base Pay Range:
$50,000-$68,750The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive Pay:
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
