About the role

Coordinates and promotes daily long-form RFD Radio Network (RFDRN) programs to drive listenership as high as possible. Coordinates guest line ups that help hosts cover the news of the day. Promotes podcasts and other audio content.

How does this role make an impact?

- Produces multiple radio shows that address issues affecting farmers. Makes changes as needed to cover the news of the day. - Researches topics, develop ideas, maintains guests lists and coordinates with radio show hosts. - Develops written, audio and video promotional news content for other platforms. - Promotes RFDRN podcasts and on-air programming through social media, video, web story posts and other methods. - Monitors analytics for podcasts and offers suggestions for increasing listenership. - Collaborates with staff throughout IFB to coordinate coverage and promote shows and stories. - Exercises professional leadership by keeping abreast of current trends, developments, technology and new opportunities within field of responsibility. - Promotes and participates in RFDRN live remote broadcasts at IFB events and others throughout the year.

Do you have what we're looking for?

Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

- Normal office environment.
- Works extensively in front of a computer monitor using a keyboard and mouse.
- Limited lifting for moving equipment and displays weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Some travel required.

-Comfortable with being on air and deadlines.

Base Pay Range:

$60,000-$82,500

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.

Incentive Pay:

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
