About the role

Oversees the origination, processing and delivery of commercial loan products and deposit services that best serve the IAA Credit Union (IAACU) and its business members. Supervises assigned staff to ensure efficient operations and the delivery of high-quality loan, deposit, and treasury services.

How does this role make an impact?

  • Leads efforts to meet or exceed established loan growth, cross-selling, and loan quality goals.
  • Monitors business loan portfolio and ensures completion of required periodic loan reviews.
  • Oversees commercial underwriting and makes approval/denial decisions regarding loans.
  • Works with Banking Operations to create cross-sell strategies aimed at enhancing the member experience and addressing both new and existing member needs. Focuses on increasing business deposits and promoting suitable treasury services to support business members' operations.
  • Manages department budget and monitors progress on a regular basis.
  • Makes policy and procedure recommendations. Collaborates with leadership team to develop and implement new and revised lending policies, loan products and lending campaigns.
  • Ensures that business loan policies, documentation and servicing standards meet federal and state regulations.
  • Provides supervisory leadership for assigned staff, including employment, training, supervision, support and ongoing performance feedback.
  • Exercises professional leadership by keeping abreast of current trends, developments, industry regulations, technology and opportunities within field of responsibility.

Do you have what we're looking for?

Typically requires 6+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

  • Leadership skills, including the ability to develop and motivate others, resolve conflict, delegate effectively and
    lead change.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize efficiently, establish priorities, and attend to details in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
  • Familiarity with retail banking products and services and demonstrated ability to cross-sell.
  • Sound judgment and analytical skills.
  • General knowledge of lending regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including strong customer service skills.
  • Computer proficiency with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including rotating Saturdays.
  • Periodic travel required, including some overnights.

Base Pay Range:

$86,400-$118,800

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.

Incentive Pay:

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
