You'll join a team of highly experienced treasury professionals. A wide variety of duties and responsibilities will keep the job interesting. You'll setup electronic funds transfers, code deposits for receipt using accounting software, process County Farm Bureau dues, take credit card payments over the phone, and perform cash management duties. Each day will bring a variety of interactions with employees in all of the family of companies, farm bureau members, and banking professionals.
This position is based out of our corporate office in Bloomington, IL five days per week.
How does a Treasury Analyst make a difference?
- Performs daily corporate cash management and prepares cash flow forecasts. Performs account analysis evaluation and recommends settlement.
- Evaluates funds transfer requests for proper approval and correct information, originates electronic funds transfers and investment transactions, and coordinates movement of large dollar amounts. Communicates activities to departments, as appropriate.
- Reviews and approves electronic access to cash balances by third parties. Oversees assigned bank account balances based on projected activity and required funding actions.
- Coordinates dues processing for and electronic settlements with the county farm bureaus.
- Coordinates e-commerce activity.
- Codes receipts for posting to the general ledger(s), prepares bank deposits and assists with bank and investment account reconciliations.
- Performs cashier functions and maintains the cashier operating procedures for the department.
Qualifications
Do you have what we're looking for?
- Solid understanding of cash management, banking industry standards and familiarity with financial analysis.
- Computer proficiency with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting and financial software.
- Ability to multi-task, organize efficiently, establish priorities, meet deadlines and attend to details.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Typically requires 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
