Description

Illinois Farm Bureau (IFB), parent company of COUNTRY Financial, is looking for a Digital Advertising Specialist. You'll provide advertising support for Illinois Farm Bureau’s (IFB) news platforms including FarmWeek, FarmWeekNow.com, RFD Radio Network and Partners magazine.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule and can be based out of our corporate office in Bloomington, IL.

How does a Digital Advertising Specialist make an impact?

  • Receives incoming and places outgoing sales calls regarding classified advertisements for assigned publications.
  • Assists customers with classified ad ordering, duration, wording, payment and final publishing. Identifies upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase advertising revenues across all platforms.
  • Works as member of the advertising team to help develop concepts and methods to implement promotional and outreach marketing projects.
  • Collaborates with team members and customers to understand specifications and organize projects to ensure specifications, deadlines and budget are met.
  • Assists with developing digital analytics reports for key stakeholders, including the Board. Utilizes data to assist in decision-making regarding news content, messaging and promotion.
  • May develop creative designs for print and digital display ads and other illustrations for IFB advertising and news platforms upon request.
  • Exercises professional leadership by keeping abreast of current trends, developments, technology and new opportunities within field of responsibility.

Qualifications

Do you have what we’re looking for?

  • Good project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, organize efficiently, establish priorities, meet deadlines and attend to details.
  • Computer proficiency including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and content management systems.
  • Experience using Google Ad Manager and various social media platforms.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills, including customer service skills.
  • Limited lifting for moving equipment and displays weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Extensive computer work.
  • Typically requires 4 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
