A Brief Overview
The Loan Support and Servicing Director oversees all aspects of commercial loan servicing and escrow insurance operations. Manages staffing and overall escrow insurance operations. This role is accountable for staff development, regulatory and policy compliance, and continuous improvement of processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and service quality.
What you will do
- Ensure data integrity for loan servicing, and maintenance of commercial loans and escrow insurance records, including escrow insurance data conversions for acquisitions and related GL reconciliation.
- Prepare, review, and implement policies and procedures for commercial loan servicing and escrow insurance to ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor training programs for Loan Servicing and Escrow Insurance staff; provide training to bank personnel on commercial loan administration and escrow topics as needed.
- Identify, develop, and refine processes to increase departmental efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and quality of work.
- Delegate responsibilities to carry out assignments and meet departmental objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management and other leaders to identify, escalate, and resolve issues with broader organizational impact.
- Maintain a well-developed knowledge of all technical systems utilized in commercial loan servicing and escrow insurance operations.
- Monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities to innovate and recommend enhancements.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress toward departmental objectives.
Other Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
- Understanding of lending regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Experience with RPA, AI and other automation technologies.
- Highly proficient in excel and report generation.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance and a minimum of 10 years Loan Operations, Loan Data Preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 Years of supervisor or manager experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
