A Brief Overview
The Asset Management and Trust Services (AMTS) Financial Planning Advisor I delivers comprehensive wealth management solutions by leveraging the existing financial planning process and utilizing financial planning software. The AMTS Financial Planning Advisor I reports to the Director of Portfolio Management & Financial Planning, who provides a moderate level of supervision. Additionally, the AMTS Financial Planning Advisor I works alongside Portfolio Manager(s), Portfolio Management Specialist(s), Financial Planning Specialist(s), and Wealth Advisor(s). The primary objective is to develop financial plans for prospective clients and maintain financial plans for existing clients.
What you will do
- Execute the established financial planning process consistently.
- Maintain expertise in financial planning software programs.
- Provide ongoing financial planning analysis, advice, and recommendations to prospective clients and existing clients.
- Develop internal and external referral sources to cultivate prospective clients.
- Coach and actively delegate to financial planning specialist(s), as assigned.
- Collaborate with the Director of Portfolio Management & Financial Planning on financial planning process improvements.
Other Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience with Financial Planning Software, required.
- Experience with Trust Accounting System Software, recommended.
- Bachelor’s Degree Finance or Financial Planning and minimum 3 years Financial Planning or Investment Management preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Financial Planner-CFP Board upon hire.
