A Brief Overview
The Systems Analyst is a data and programming specialist responsible for working with bank systems and software to deliver reports, update data or develop applications, sites or portals for bank internal use as well as troubleshoot and update existing applications, portals and sites.
What you will do
- Prioritizes inbound requests, establishes responsible deadlines and personal work plans.
- Performs typical system maintenance activities such as site updates, user training, backup, restore and issue resolution.
- Facilitates efficiency through creation of automation scripts using various tools.
- Administers existing intranet websites and provide functional end-user support.
- Updates and maintains databases utilized in various internal automation projects.
- Supports existing applications as needed.
- Designs, builds and maintains associated documentation.
- Works within application life cycle and follows project and development plans and clearly articulate project goals and timelines.
- Configures and maintains document libraries, enterprise lists and site collections.
- Resolves requests for intranet security permission changes.
Other Qualifications/Requirements
- Working knowledge of structured programming languages.
- Familiarity with database structure and management; and report writing abilities.
- Ability to assist with maintenance of intranet systems.
- Expected skills include but are not limited to: Strong working knowledge of programming languages such as VB, C#; ASP.NET framework; SQL; front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, SSIS, SQL databases, Microsoft SharePoint administration; version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with IBM Cognos or JHA Silverlake a plus.
- Associate’s Degree Computer Science or Information Systems and minimum 3 years Computers/Information Technology preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years Financial Services preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
