Wage Range: Min: $25.40, Mid: $31.22, Max: $37.04
A Brief Overview
The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating all networking and telephony equipment at Heartland Bank. The Network Administrator will work on projects as directed and will be a point of escalation from the helpdesk as well as other technology teams. This position will work closely with other Network Administrators and other teams, including the Systems Administrators and Help Desk.
What you will do
- Monitor, manage, and configure switches, routers, and firewalls
- Interact with third party WAN providers on outages and other problems.
- Review and respond to network security incidents.
- Research and troubleshoot network performance issues.
- Plan, configure and deploy telephony products (specifically Cisco VoIP).
- Plan, configure, deploy and troubleshoot WiFi at branch locations
- Create meaningful network documentation.
Other Qualifications/Requirements
- Knowledge of the following technologies: * Routing concepts and technologies (BGP, OSPF, Static, Redistribution, etc.). * Switching concepts and technologies (VLANs, Bridging, Spanning Tree, Trunking, Leaf-Spine, etc..). * Cisco IOS * Network Function Virtualization * Web filtering technologies * Firewalls * Cisco Unified Communications and associated technologies. * Network monitoring tools * A high level of competency with general computer support.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related curriculum and minimum 3 years IT Support preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years network and systems management preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Entry level networking certification, eg Net+ or CCNA upon hire required.
