A Brief Overview

The Credit Administrator I provides administrative support to staff members within the Credit Department. This role provides organization and structure to the overall department workflow and meets various short-term requests in an efficient manner. The Credit Administrator I assists primarily with workflow tracking and data entry as it relates to Credit write-ups and other department processes.

What you will do

  • Assist the Credit Supervisor or Credit Operations Officer with monitoring Credit department workflow.
  • Assist the Appraisal department with administrative tasks related to the appraisal process, including using the Collateral360 program and sending ECOA appraisal notices to borrowers.
  • Oversee the routing and tracking of loan presentations for proper approval.
  • Assist staff members with gathering information in preparation for meetings.
  • Pull credit reports on commercial borrowers and guarantors.
  • Perform loan maintenance and input data into bank systems, including but not limited to: risk rating changes, loan policy exception coding, and collateral configurations.
  • Perform other duties as necessary to assist the Credit Operations Officer, Credit Supervisor, or Credit Operations Specialist.

Other Qualifications/Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED and minimum 1 year office preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate’s Degree Business preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Business preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
