A Brief Overview
Under the supervision of the Operations and Facilities Director, the Regional Facilities Manager is responsible for the oversight of bank buildings and fleet vehicles. This role ensures timely and effective repairs of bank buildings and equipment, manages construction projects, and oversees preventive maintenance of assigned bank buildings and equipment and is responsible for setting priorities, managing costs, preparing budgets, and meeting deadlines. Maintains regular communication with senior management.
What you will do
- Oversees maintenance of facilities (includes supervising and directing property management company work), landscaping, equipment, vehicles, etc. to ensure safety and proper working order (inspection, scheduling, written procedures, and activity logs).
- Evaluates longer term needs in relation to major projects, property improvements, equipment, and assists in the preparation of the annual budget.
- Coordinates and leads planned projects with branch staff and their internal departments to ensure minimal disruption to bank operations.
- Proactively inspects buildings and other structures to evaluate functionality, safety, professional appearance, and needed repairs.
- Research vendors and contractors, solicits bids and quotes, and monitors performance and costs to ensure work is completed according to specifications and within budget.
Other Qualifications/Requirements
- Occasional overnight travel required. Off hour supervision of projects may be required including early morning, evening, and weekends.
- Demonstrates knowledge of building mechanical systems (including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, irrigation, alarms, elevators, etc.), project management, preventative maintenance, architectural principles and vendor management.
- Bachelor’s Degree Construction Management, Facilities Management and minimum 5 years Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, Construction Management, or similar preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
