A Brief Overview

The Systems Analyst Intern position is an introductory role that provides real world experience to college students. This role will provide assistance to the IT department in order to gain knowledge in bank systems and software. Works with the bank systems and software to deliver reports, update data or develop applications for sites or portals for bank internal use.

What you will do

  • Work within application life cycle and follow project and development plans and be able to follow project goals and timelines.
  • Perform typical system intranet maintenance activities such as designing entry forms, managing content, and site updates.
  • Update and maintain associated documentation such as document libraries, enterprise lists and site collections.
  • Facilitate efficiency through creation of automation scripts using various tools.
  • Update and maintain existing intranet websites and provide functional end-user support.
  • Maintain intranet infrastructure on development and production servers.

Other Qualifications/Requirements

  • Knowledge of structured programming languages.
  • Familiarity with database structure and management; and report writing abilities.
  • Ability to assist with maintenance of intranet systems.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as VB, C#; ASP.NET framework; SQL; front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, SSIS, SQL databases, Microsoft SharePoint administration; version control systems such as Git.
  • H.S. Diploma or GED, junior or senior in college seeking an internship in Computer Science or Information Systems. Preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
