PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Responsible for leading HR technology through development, design, and administration for GROWMARK, Inc., retail Divisions, Subsidiaries, and members. Responsible for overseeing and maintaining HRIS data, system configuration, and facilitating HR technology projects.
SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP
Provides direction for the HRIS area; supervises, leads, and develops the HRIS team. Additionally, serves as a backup to the Director, HR Administration and Corporate Services on department issues and provides leadership to CEO staff, management, and members on HR technology issues.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
System Implementation and Maintenance:
- Oversee the configuration, deployment, and upgrades of HR systems (including SAP/SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, UKG, etc), payroll, benefits, and other platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all HR systems.
- Oversee the separation of duties, access rights, permissions and configurations for end-users.
- Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with vendors or IT for resolution.
Strategic Planning:
- Partner with HR leadership to identify technology needs and develop strategies to enhance HR processes through technology.
- Modify system configurations, introduce new features or modules, and design workflows.
- Stay informed about emerging HR technology trends and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and employee experience.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of HRIS Analysts, fostering professional growth and development.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely project completion.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for business processes, user guidelines, HR and business operations roles, and related documentation.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary liaison between HR, IT, and other departments for system-related projects and initiatives.
- Communicate system updates and changes to stakeholders, providing training and documentation as needed.
- Offer HRIS training and assistance to HR teams and other departments as required.
- Foster strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Data Analytics and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into workforce metrics, trends, and compliance.
- Ensure systems support regulatory reporting and compliance requirements (e.g., EEO, ACA).
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with HR technology vendors and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Evaluate vendor performance and recommend changes as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field and at least 8-10 years or more of business leadership experience to demonstrate the ability to provide HRIS leadership to the GROWMARK System.
Strong technical knowledge of HRIS platforms (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, UKG, etc).
Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, research, and resolve complex HRIS issues.
Demonstrated project management experience preferably with implementation of human resources systems. Ability to lead and organize cross-functional teams and/or projects.
Proven supervisory and leadership skills including staffing, orientation, coaching, performance evaluations, training, and development, etc. and the ability to achieve results through others.
Proven professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.
Demonstrated planning, organization, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in team-oriented environment.
Proven computer skills and the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
