At DESTIHL®, we place great emphasis on our restaurant teams because they are the face to the guest and are largely responsible for our continued success. The team is a very cohesive group where each person will be exposed to many aspects of the restaurant and will work closely with and assist one another to create a great experience for our guests while achieving our operational objectives and increasing sales. This position reports directly to the restaurant GM & executive chef. The essential function of this position is to deliver outstanding hospitality to our guests and ensure that hospitality is always the top priority for all team members. The team is responsible for building a loyal guest base by always providing a high level of hospitality, and by ensuring food and beer quality and consistency. Qualified candidates must enjoy and be willing to spend a majority of their time directly interacting with guests. The position requires a high degree of learning and understanding of food and beverage in general, but also of foreign and domestic beers, wine, and spirits in particular. Familiarity with a wide variety of beer styles will be greatly beneficial when training with and speaking to team members and guests. Consistency and high levels of production are essential to success in this position. Also necessary is the attention to detail, the ability to organize time and priorities and ability to self-manage to a high level.
