About the role
We’re seeking a hands-on technologist who will own the lifecycle of our software and hardware assets—from procurement through disposal—with a laser focus on governance, expense optimization, license compliance, and sustainable end-of-life practices. You will establish and continuously improve asset management processes, build reliable inventories, reduce risk and cost, and ensure we have the right technology in the right place at the right time.How does this role make an impact?
- Works across multiple divisions to develop and continually improve asset management policies, requirements, processes, and metrics. Includes evaluation and selection of asset management systems, including integration with other critical systems (discovery systems, configuration management system, contract system, etc.). - Proactively maintains compliance position for key software and hardware vendors, which includes performing periodic self-audits, engaging and managing outside expertise where required, and providing recommendations for resolution of non-compliant situations. - Maintains integrity of all asset-related data in the repository. Performs reconciliation between asset records with other relevant data sources; investigate and resolve exceptions. Provides asset data for support defense during compliance audits. Provides asset data for cyber-security defense.Do you have what we're looking for?
- Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
- Exposure to SAM/HAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, USU) is a plus.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles, database structure and reporting or willingness to learn.
- Interest in software licensing, compliance, and hardware disposal.
- Six-Sigma Yellow Belt Certification is preferred.
Base Pay Range:
$64,800-$89,100The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive Pay:
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
