About the role

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a dynamic experienced, highly motivated Software Developer to join the Digital development team supporting Commercial & Agribusiness. As a member of the team, you will participate in the full software development life cycle following Agile methodologies though requirements, analysis, design, development, and validation. You will be a skilled React Developer with expertise in Micro front ends (MFE), Cache Management, Performance Optimization, and Persona Management. You will be an integral member of the project team that is implementing Guidewire’s Jutro portal of the policy administration system for commercial/agribusiness. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask while managing time effectively and meeting deadlines would make a great addition. In this role, you will develop and maintain specification documents, data flows and support integrations between systems and development.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL, Alpharetta, GA, or Minneapolis, MN.

Do you have what we're looking for?

  • Experience as a React developer with a strong emphasis on Micro front ends (MFE), cache management, performance optimization, and persona management.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Bitbucket and GitLab.
  • Understanding of full stack development, including REST and SOAP API development and interactions as well as security models like OAUTH 2.0.
  • Experience working with Guidewire’s Policy Center policy administration system. Guidewire Certification is a plus.
  • Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment.
  • Experience working on large technology projects with vendor engagement.
  • Experience with Commercial Lines Property/Casualty insurance products is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

Base Pay Range:

$94,000-$129,250

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.

Incentive Pay:

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
