As we are working to design and implement COUNTRY's Enterprise Travel Program, we are looking for a Travel Specialist who can work in a fast paced, maturing environment and build relationships with Suppliers and Internal business partners. The perfect candidate will need to be organized, familiar with travel, comfortable with creative solutioning, and have experience with designing and implementing new business process, policy and tools.

This position is based out of our corporate office in Bloomington, IL five days per week.

How does a Travel Specialist make an impact?

  • Serves as primary vendor manager with corporate jet vendor(s), hotels and commercial airlines. Cultivates relationships with preferred suppliers including contract negotiation. Monitors and tracks hours allocation for the fractional ownership agreement(s).
  • Assists in scheduling flights thru corporate jet vendor and commercial airlines. Coordinates flight itineraries with other trip itineraries placed thru Egencia.
  • Ensures that reservations for air travel, car rentals and overnight accommodations are accurate, and that itineraries, tickets and instructions are available to employees on a timely basis.
  • Provides various reports for management review including but not limited to: quarterly billing of travel expense, corporate jet usage/passenger load factor, Standard Industry Fare Level reporting, and IFB travel. Utilizes Egencia reporting and history to help determine optimum use of corporate aircraft vendor vs. commercial airline travel.
  • Maintains and monitors compliance with COUNTRY Travel Policy and Procedures.
