COUNTRY Financial is seeking an Internal Auditor who will work with a wide variety of business areas to perform internal audits of business functions, perform work related to external audits, and serve as a resource to assist others with assessing business environments. This role provides the opportunity to build relationships throughout the organization, assess risks and controls in various processes, support business area success, and learn about the products and services that COUNTRY Financial offers to clients. The ideal candidate is team oriented but also comfortable working independently and is adaptable to new situations.
This position conducts fieldwork and assist with planning and reporting on compliance (regulatory and company policies), financial, and operational audits. Project execution includes conducting interviews, compiling and analyzing data, and documenting findings. Prepares audit plans and understands the specific issues to be evaluated. Assists with developing formal written reports to communicate audit results and action plans to management. Performs work leveraged by external auditors for completion of external audits.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.

    • Typically requires 4 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
