We’re looking for a talented and seasoned Corporate Communications Specialist Sr. to join a high-performing communications team. We work closely with our leadership and divisional business partners to the right audiences using the appropriate compliance, brand, and internal standards. This person writes, edits, reviews, and oversees the delivery of internal enterprise communications. Our work is to engage and drive change in alignment with our business partners and our corporate goals and objectives.

There are two openings, and this position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.

How does the Corporate Communications Specialist Sr. make an impact?

• Uses consulting and analytical skills to determine business, employee and financial representative communication needs while ensuring a "corporate voice" permeates message. Then analyzes needs and selects right corporate communication mediums to meet corporate's mass communications needs.
• Uses planning/coordination skills to ensure consistency of messages, alignment to corporate objectives and values, proper approvals and coordination of publishing in appropriate mediums to meet deadlines.
• Utilizes conceptualization, business, technical and creative writing skills to tell stories and develop a wide variety of business and technical content and communication.

Do you have what we're looking for?

• Strong writing and consultation skills.
• Insurance and financial services experience preferred.
• Understanding of internal and external communications.
• Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
