COUNTRY Financial is actively seeking for a skilled and experienced QA professional to join the Agency & Marketing Application Development department as Test Automation Lead. As a test Lead, you will conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements; Draft, revise and approve test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy; Create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow; Coordinate with users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing; Ensure that system tests are successfully completed and documented, and all problems are resolved.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains test strategy and plan for functional and non-functional requirements testing.
• Handles test case design, test data mining and test execution for functional and non-functional tests.
  
• Plan, document, track and coordinates testing, handles requirements traceability, metrics, defect, issue and risk management.
  
• Develops test summary reports, dashboards to communicate vital test status, issues and risks to key stakeholders and helps in go, no-go decisions.
  
• Demonstrates passion for quality and strives for continuous improvements to deliver a better-quality product in a cost-effective way and faster.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule out of our corporate office in Bloomington, IL.

Do you have what we're looking for?

• Expertise in Software Quality Assurance practices.
• Expertise in test automation and other technical QE skills (Python, Pytest, Selenium, Roboframework, API and other automation test frameworks).
• Proven background of successfully delivering and leading testing for test automation projects, preferably CRM implementations.
• Experience (2 to 5+ years) as a team lead.
• Experience with IT development methodologies (e.g. Agile/Scrum, waterfall).
• Typically requires 14 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
