Agency Recruiting at COUNTRY Financial supports agency leadership by sourcing and contracting talented Insurance Agents and Financial Advisors. As the Manager of Agency Recruiting, you will be responsible for leading teams that drive and support sourcing efforts through various channels to identify and engage potential candidates specifically tailored to the sales career opportunities within the organization. You will play a critical role in managing and directing the entire recruitment process, including developing and implementing recruitment marketing strategies and programs and utilizing innovative technologies. We are seeking a manager who can continue to enhance the experience for candidates and our agency partners, while adapting to meet the challenges of a highly competitive recruiting environment and support the continued growth of our 1099 business owner career opportunities.

This position is also responsible for the development and implementation of our market level community business development strategy. Responsible for a team that identifies recruiting, business development and community engagement opportunities aligned to our corporate strategy. You will work in collaboration with cross functional business areas and represent the department on corporate DE&I initiatives as it relates to the agency force. This position requires expertise in change management, cross-functional collaboration, and outstanding communication and leadership skills.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.

How does an Agency Sales Recruiting Manager make an impact?

  • Oversees end to end recruitment operations, including planning, execution and optimization of recruitment strategies.
  • Leads sourcing efforts through various channels to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining program strategy and effective recruitment marketing campaigns to attract top talent to the Insurance Agency and Financial Advisor career opportunities.
  • Manages and optimizes recruiting systems to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Responsible for generating comprehensive reports, tracking, and analyzing talent acquisition metrics through recruiting system(s); communicates activity and results regularly to team and management; ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the agency recruitment process.
  • Manages the implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and activities in assigned areas. Maintains current contact information for all employees in applicable areas and communicates with non-recovery employees during a disaster.
  • Fosters a positive environment where all team members are motivated and committed to contribute their best work.
  • Creates a safe environment where team members are supported to make decisions and take action to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Takes personal responsibility for making tough decisions, meeting commitments and adapting to ensure expected results are achieved.
  • Assumes responsibility for implementing practices to integrate diversity, equity and inclusion while holding self and others accountable.

Do you have what we're looking for?

  • Experience with 1099 business models, familiarity with attracting top talent to business owner career opportunities, demonstrating an understanding of this unique distribution model.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing effective recruitment marketing strategies and managing comprehensive recruitment programs.
  • Proficiency in recruiting technologies, skilled in utilizing innovative platforms, CRM and ATS systems and other technologies to streamline and enhance the recruitment process.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and business partners through challenges and change in highly competitive environments.
  • This is a leadership role, which typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training, including management experience.
