How does a Guidewire Solution Architect to make an impact?
- Designs solutions after gathering business and technical requirements.
- Develops software solutions that are high performing and meet technical standards.
- Supports testing and problem solving/debugging of solutions.
- Implements software solutions following best practices.
Do you have what we're looking for?
- Strong organization, written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Commercial Lines Property/Casualty insurance products.
- Expert level knowledge of Guidewire’s PolicyCenter, including configuration and integration capabilities.
- Demonstrated forward thinking skills, ability to look at the overall needs of the business area supported and contribute to the direction and recommend improvement ideas.
- Proven experience working developers on technical requirements to design solutions.
- Demonstrated experience providing guidance on data model changes and code quality, including support of teams in code reviews.
- Proven ability to work with support teams resolving complex issues related to performance.
- Experience creating process diagrams for business solutions. Be able to present to leadership or business audiences.
- Ability to do impact analysis of a change to a system you support, and other systems impacted.
- Must be able to perform under pressure, multitask, prioritize, and show appropriate sense of urgency.
- Proven ability of working within an Agile development life cycle (including a strong understanding of the interactions between engineers, analyst, and testers).
- Experience working on large strategic, multi-phase projects involving multiple teams and 50+ employees.
- Experience using Rally.
- Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, BitBucket and GitLab.
- Typically requires 14 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
