At COUNTRY Financial, our Compliance Analyst will focus on monitoring the changes in state legislation related to property casualty insurance laws, fulfilling compliance research requests from our business partners, serving as a compliance subject matter expert on critical projects, and completing a variety of compliance tasks such as certified policies and subpoenas. Additionally, this position serves as a liason with our Office of General Counsel for compliance related matters.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate office in Bloomington, IL.

How does a Compliance Analyst make an impact?

  • Researches, develops, and documents information used in the development of business recommendations, plans and decisions.
  • Monitors, investigates, evaluates and analyzes legislative and regulatory requirements and changes involving insurance products. Resolves complaints when necessary.
  • Communicates to all necessary parties any changes for systems, documents, contract language and/or plan amendments that might be required for plan and product compliance. Trains others as necessary.

Do you have what we're looking for?

  • Achievement of, or significant progress towards, CPCU, SCLA, or equivalent insurance accreditation.
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present small or large group presentations.
  • Possesses a well-developed detail orientated approach with excellent critical thinking, prioritization, organizational, and research skills.
  • Possesses the ability to work effectively and persuasively within cross-functional teams and contribute to achieving amicable outcomes.
  • Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
