COUNTRY Financial is searching for an IT Manager to lead implementation and maintenance of a Life Health Solution Delivery. This Information Technology Services Manager will be a member of the leadership team tasked with understanding business strategies, operations, and opportunities to develop technical capabilities that align with business needs. This person will be a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of Life projects. He or she will provide daily leadership and direction to a multi-location team and will be responsible for leading significant projects.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule and can be based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL, Alpharetta, GA, or Minneapolis, MN.

How does the Technology Manager make an impact?

  • Provides leadership by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Sustains information systems results by defining, delivering, and supporting information systems; auditing application of systems.
  • Assesses information systems results by auditing application of systems.
  • Enhances information systems results by identifying information systems technology opportunities and developing application strategies.
  • Safeguards assets by planning and implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by determining service level required; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Manages the implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and activities in assigned areas. Maintains current contact information for all employees in applicable areas and communicates with non-recovery employees during a disaster.
  • Fosters a positive environment where all team members are motivated and committed to contribute their best work.
  • Creates a safe environment where team members are supported to make decisions and take action to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Takes personal responsibility for making tough decisions, meeting commitments and adapting to ensure expected results are achieved.
  • Assumes responsibility for implementing practices to integrate diversity, equity and inclusion while holding self and others accountable.

Do you have what we’re looking for?

  • Proven success in designing, implementing, and maintaining Life/Health technology solutions.
  • Experience partnering with System Integrators for large scale software implementations.
  • Life Health Business knowledge and experience is preferred.
  • Experience with oversight/accountability of large projects.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of leadership and understand audiences.
  • Proven track record of providing excellent support of custom and Commercial Off-The-Shelf software solutions.
  • This is a leadership role, which typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training, including management experience.

Salary target: $131,600 - $170,000 +annual incentive bonus. The salary target represents the expected salary range of candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
