Overview
Responsibilities
Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate.
Provides health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
Acts as preceptor and supports the development of other staff and healthcare students.
Provides leadership for initiatives designed to improve the quality of care or clinical outcomes.
Assists Nursing Supervisor/coordinator in the development of departmental standing orders.
Completes Certificates of Medical Necessity for durable medical equipment and oxygen.
Responsible for ordering and inventory of medications used in clinic.
Triage phone calls. Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate. Medication refills. Completes prior authorizations for medications and procedures Administers injections Provides health and wellness education to the patients. Acts as preceptor and supports the development of other staff and health care students. Maintains a professional demeanor in all situations. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Focusing on providing high-quality service and care Accurately records patient information in the electronic medical records system and patient medical record. Demonstrates understanding of role in emergency preparedness procedures. Provides phone triage, and returns patient phone calls withing one business day.
