The incumbent will coordinate and / or lead recurring processes and independently maintain the accounting for payroll, as well as the analysis of payroll expenses and various other month end functions. <em><strong>Hybrid schedule would require some onsite presence at our Corporate Headquarters in Bloomington, IL.</strong></em></p>\n\n
What you will be doing:
\n- \n
- Prepare month-end financial statements through analysis and compilation of work papers. \n
- Prepare, adjust, and analyze journal entries. \n
- Prepare documentation for External Auditors. \n
- Provide financial statement analysis and reports for Management. \n
- Coach and mentor Level I accounting positions and delegate financial responsibilities, as necessary. \n
- Coordinate or lead various recurring processes. \n
<h3>Requirements</h3>\n <p><strong>What you will need:</strong></p>\n- \n
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent is required. \n
- Five years of accounting experience and at least two-four years of experience leading a team is preferred. \n
- CPA designation preferred. \n
- Strong understanding of financial statements and GAAP for audit preparation is required. \n
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office products is required. \n
- Strong mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. \n
