Position Description

This hands-on test engineering position designs, develops, constructs, procures or modifies existing and new test tooling and related software to ensure efficient and reliable product test processes. This position will also provide assistance to manufacturing and the test engineering team to support process revisions and improvements to manufacturing methods, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, construct, procure, or modify test tooling and related software
• Develop, document schedule, perform and complete routine maintenance on test related tooling and equipment
• Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product(s) to determine root cause
• Perform testing and gather related resulting data to assist in resolving product, production, or process non-conformances

Experience/Education/Skills Requirements

• 3-5 years of direct test engineering experience
• BS EE, BS CS, BS EET, or AS ET with demonstrated knowledge and capabilities.
• Able to execute assigned responsibilities and tasks per agreed upon project schedules, while keeping all project and task priorities up to date
• PC application programming experience (C, VB, C#, SQL)
• Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing environment and customer-driven product customization.
• Experience in an ISO environment.
• Strong technical communication skills, including experience interfacing directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
