Position Description

This is a hands-on engineering position responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing process development, and lifecycle support of complex electromechanical assemblies in industries such as electronics, automotive, or construction. This is a customer facing engineering position focused on end-to-end product management within a contract manufacturing setting.

Experience/Education/Skills Requirements

• 8-10 years of direct experience managing products from customer quote through production launch and post-launch support
• BS in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering
• Preferred background in electronics, automotive, or construction equipment manufacturing
• Familiarity with contract manufacturing environments and customer-driven product customization.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Stage-Gate, Agile, or Waterfall.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Strong technical communication skills, including experience interfacing directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage complex product launches and multi-phase engineering projects from quote through production and beyond.
• Comfortable with CAD viewers and basic CAD editing.
• Strong skills in process documentation: work instructions, process flows, PFMEAs, control plans, and visual standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (BOM management, router creation, inventory structuring).
