Accounting Manager

Main Objective

Manage all aspects of the accounting function including; monthly closing, financial statement presentation, forecasting, budget preparation, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Drive working capital efficiency by working with other functional areas. Provide financial analysis of the business and serve as a key member of the leadership team to drive profitable growth.

• Perform all aspects of the monthly closing
• Coordinate external audit and tax filings as required
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations as required
• Own the reporting and improvement of the cash conversion cycle (Order to Cash)
• Administer and follow the collection escalation process and document activities as required
• Prepare and maintain inventory overhead rates
• Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventory processes with the Material Director
• Monitor inventory transactions for accuracy
• Prepare reports and analysis to update management as to the status of accounts receivable
• Maintain the allowance for uncollectible accounts including required analytics
• Administer the credit review and approval process
• Manage the sales and use tax process and corresponding filings
• Oversee Accounts Payable and customer Invoicing
• Maintain the financial statutory calendar and complete items as required

• Accurate and Timely financial reporting, audit and tax return completion
• Improvement in DSO metrics (Days Sales Outstanding)
• Improvement in AP Metrics (Days Payable Outstanding)
• Improvement in Inventory Turns (Days of Inventory on Hand)

Requirments

Education: 4-year degree in Accounting, MBA Optional
Experience: 5-7 years – experience

Education/Training: Four-year degree in Accounting and Fluent in Microsoft Excel & ERP Systems
